Goals for our students:  
To use Noodletools to give credit for the sources they used in their research.  
To use direct quotations and paraphrasing skills as necessary in their research.

Goals for ourselves:

To familiarize ourselves with the Noodletools online application and to be comfortable answering questions for our students as it relates to using Noodletools.
To incorporate Noodletools into our lesson design.

Our tasks:  

Login to Noodletools and become comfortable with the online environment (lists, notecards, bibliography, etc.)
Create citations in MLA format for print, database, and open web materials
Explore the notecard feature of Noodletools and brainstorm potential classroom uses

How will we use this information?

Practice creating citations in MLA format
Practice finding quotations and paraphrasing
Ask “what else do I need to know?”


How will what we do be evaluated?

Teachers create their first folder and have a colleague “share” his/her list
Teachers read through the sample list and offer feedback to “student”  
(note that this may end up as a completely paperless assignment)
