A directory of political action groups in the United States
Civilrights.org is a collaboration of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights and the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund. Its mission: to serve as the site of record for relevant and up-to-the minute civil rights news and information.

The American Conservative Union is the nation's oldest conservative lobbying organization. ACU's purpose is to effectively communicate and advance the goals and principles of conservatism through one multi-issue, umbrella organization. The Statement of Principles makes clear ACU's support of capitalism, belief in the doctrine of original intent of the framers of the Constitution, confidence in traditional moral values, and commitment to a strong national defense.

As the leading source for easily searched and sorted progressive policy information, Moving Ideas provides the background information for citizen activism via the Internet. The site is a one-stop shop for resources from more than 140 partner and member organizations that focus on issues such as foreign policy and national security, education, civil liberties, jobs and the economy, retirement security and more. The site emphasizes engaging citizens in activism, but also provides easy access to everything from columnists to public documents.

This government website will have many repeat links from the sites above, but you will also find many new ones as well.
