1/09  Project

"The 19th Century for Smarties"

Resources to use first:

iConn databases--use the Discovering Collection and the EBSCO History Reference Center as well as the Biography Resource Center if you are researching people.  These can be great for images!

The Historical Hartford Courant --this can be used to research people and events, but is probably not useful for concepts (ex. socialism)

Next, visit these websites:

Try an excellent subject directory website, such as Librarians' Internet Index or Intute.

Locate primary sources using the links on Cayermedia's Primary Sources page. (You may find images here as well.)

Use Clusty Safe Search to find reliable resources and images for your presentation.
