Composer
Events of the era or time period when the piece was composed
Style of the piece (i.e. folk song, fugue, spiritual)
Text (its origins, how it fits the piece)
Accompaniment, if any
Interesting fact(s) about the piece-what makes it unique?
Personal thoughts or experiences with the piece
Research Resources available:
ATHENA-Locate books or other print materials (780's) related to the composer (B and 920's), the history (900's), and/or the piece itself
iCONN - the State's Digital Library is an excellent source of encyclopedic and periodical references
